What they say: After a shocking confrontation with an unexpected encounter, Constance tries to piece her life back together and is on a mission to finally move on.The thought of having her friends near is comforting as they take time out of their busy online livesand meet up at their favourite place, A Cupful of Dreams Café.
Everyone seems happy enough until cracks begin to show and all is not as good as it seems.Constance tries desperately to keep positive as there’s so much to look forward to: shopping for posh frocks, dinner at The Shard and a moviepremiere. As things start to look rosy, a few odd tweets begin to pop up from nowhere. At first, they seem innocent, but as the weeks go by and premier night draws near, not only do the tweets increase but they become more obnoxious.By the time Constance and her chums arrive on the red carpet, she’s determined to work out who the troll could be and to keep them from spoiling her evening. However as Constance soon learns, the troll wants to destroy far more than that!Breathtaking views of London.Posh frocks and Paparazzi But there’s definitely trouble in the air …
The Review: I have to start by apologising for being back to blogging from my mobile phone, as it means I cant seem to link to old posts and I also am having issues with the images, which is such a pity as a) you have to go searching for all my gushy posts about this series, a series which is my go to when I’m not reading well ( although I seem to be experiencing a year of this issue at this stage) and b) These covers always hit the spot with me ( this one is particularly gorgeous!!).
Anyhoo we’re back with Constance, and I’ll say the gang too because they’re always who I think of when I think of this series, a quirky, oddball group of writers who have been brought together who would normally be an unlikely match. As always there’s a lot going on, much book related, which I loved, even though I didn’t always click with everyone.
In fact there’s always so much going on, with someone lurking in the background who seems to be intent on threatening Constance. You would think that would be enough to keep you flying through but actually there’s so much going on all the way through. A special mention for Charlie, her little boy, who made my heart swell. With comedy and romance, glitz, dazzle and sparkle, this is a chill out, feel good one for when you need some time to yourself. And the first of this series is FREE on Amazon so go check it out! Thanks to Rachel from Rachel’s Random Resources for allowing me to be part of the blog tour and the book in return for an honest review
