The review: They say books are a form of escapism. As a book blogger there’s times they aren’t, there’s times you’re so tired and you have a commitment and you’re not in the mood for a book. This book, luckily for me, was the opposite of this! On a night I was all over the place and not sleeping I took to this, a dreamy book that was filled with escapism, beauty and romance and my god it saved the night!
This is book 4 of a series. I haven’t read the others of the series but judging from this one, I think it’d be a great series to get to. I’ll admit I found it too innocent at the start, the ‘baddies’ being a bit too much so for me, but when I shifted my mindframe and indeed on reaching our holiday destination where our two leads were stranded in the snow, I was so taken! This is one for the ‘love at first sight,’ ‘whirlwind romance’ lovers, who want pure beauty and wistfullness and a few ‘oops’ moments thrown in.
Very much recommended and thanks so much to Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources for the book in return for an honest review and for letting me be part of this lovely blog tour.
